In June 2026, our team visited Automate Show 2026, North America’s largest robotics and automation trade show, held June 22–25 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. Organized by the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), the show brought together more than 1,000 exhibitors and over 50,000 attendees.
Why we attended
Our customers are largely robotics and automation manufacturers, and the wire harnesses and control panels we build are core parts of their machines. Visiting Automate let us see the newest developments in the industry up close, understand where our customers’ technology is heading, and explore how NTEC can support companies in the North American market.
What we saw
The show covered the full range of automation technology, including industrial and collaborative robots, machine vision, motion control, and AI-driven systems. Humanoid robotics drew a lot of attention this year, with a dedicated pavilion showing a wide range of humanoid robots and the technologies that make them work. Across the floor, one trend stood out: as machines become more compact, more intelligent, and more connected, the demand for reliable, precisely built wiring and control systems continues to grow.
Looking ahead
Automate Show 2026 gave us valuable insight into the needs of automation companies in North America. We will use what we learned to strengthen our products and services as we continue to expand our presence in the United States.
